The Egyptian Orthopaedic Journal (EOJ): A Legacy of Excellence in Orthopaedic Research

The Egyptian Orthopaedic Journal (EOJ) is the official publication of the Egyptian Orthopaedic Association (https://eoa.org.eg/), dedicated to advancing the field of orthopaedic surgery and research. Established in 1966 in Alexandria, EOJ has played a pivotal role in disseminating high-quality scientific knowledge both nationally and internationally. EOJ continues to serve as a critical platform for clinicians, researchers, and educators, enhancing orthopaedic knowledge and practice on both national and international levels.

The EOJ is a peer-reviewed, quarterly, open-access journal. The journal publishes original research papers, review articles, case reports, letters to the Editor, ideas, and innovations detailing novel and effective solutions to orthopedic surgical problems from all over the world. The journal aims to provide a platform for the exchange of information about all aspects of orthopedic surgery throughout the world.

Ethical principles and reporting guidelines are followed to maintain the integrity and credibility of the research findings and ensure high standards of published research.

The EOJ was hosted by Wolters Kluwer Medknow from June 2012 to December 2024, then it moved to the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB) in January 2025.
